25 km 22.5 km (station 1 in front of the Deštná Museum of Winter Sports, Tourism and Crafts)For the summer, we have prepared another way to spend your free time. This is a fun educational trail that takes you through the history of glass melting. On the route from Deštné in Orlické hory to Orlické Záhoří, there are seven information boards located in places connected with the history of glassmakers. On each information board, players learn about the history and write down simple competition codes, which they fill in the game rules table. You can hand in the table with the completed codes at the information center in Deštné in Orlické hory or Orlické Záhoří, where you will be rewarded for your efforts with a glass coin with the motif of Ducklings and Smugglers. If you hand in the filled-in table with the codes at the above-mentioned information centers, you will be included in the draw that takes place every year at the "Glass Melting with Wood" event.
Zemská brana educational trail
The Zemská Brána educational trail runs through the nature reserve of the same name, which stretches across the Divoká Orlice valley. It introduces the visitor to the nature reserve on 10 boards. There are several interesting buildings near the trail (infantry hut Na potoku, Ledříčkova skála, Pašerácká lávka).
The trail is accessible all year round, but the information panels are only placed between May and October.

The educational trail starts from the Bedřichovka tourist hut. You can go either to the Polish border or to the nature reserve Trčkovská louka. The trail is equipped with eight information panels. You will get to know the natural conditions and nature conservation in the Divoká Orlice floodplain. Many protected plants grow here.
