Programs for schools
A window into the past
We have a Window to the Past program for schools and groups of pupils and students. The program takes place partly in the classroom, partly in the natural area. It consists of three blocks, which are not only intended to introduce children to the material culture of the Middle Ages, but also to the use of natural resources and everyday life. In the first block, there is an explanation, in the second, practical demonstrations and children's work, and in the third, a tour of the area. Pupils will try: spinning and weaving, making fire, grinding grain and baking cakes, making ceramics, shooting with a bow... In the area, they will get to know the buildings and their operation. The program lasts 3 to 4 hours.
Guided tour for schools
The guided tour lasts from an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the interest of the children. Visitors will learn about individual objects, the use of the landscape and life in the Middle Ages.
